my wife and I are hooked on the Wii
I suggest finding a copy of WiiPLAY - fun mini games for 2 and comes WITH a Wiimote inside
also Raving Rabbids, RED Steel, Zelda - good stuff

Zelda was awesome! My wife liked watching me as I played and helping me with the puzzles I couldn't figure out. Best thing your wife ever did for you!

Yeah Zelda took me 30 hours, and I didn't even do EVERYTHING. 30 hours to me, is like 3 months I don't play a lot so i got my money out of it, but it's real fun. I want Wii play, maybe next payday.

Wario is a must play too. The multiplayer is annoying to have to unlock, but with 4 people it gets bonkers. its so fun.

yeah trauma center is great, it gets SUPER hard though. Zelda took me something like 40 hours, very fun though if you have the time to spare.
