believe it or not , back in the day this was mark nagatas ultraman bbs site . this used to be where we talked vintage . now all there is are toybox dx . a great site that mostly deals with die cast toys or clubtokyo that is primarily for godzilla collector but mike does have quite a few ultraman kaiju on his site .really , when it comes down to it there really are not that many hardcore vintage collectors out there .

Yeah, the only places I can think of that are somewhat related are the three Yahoo Groups: ClubTokyoC, GodzillaC, and vintagekaijucollecting, but the focus there is limited to primarily Godzilla items. On the latter list, the discussion is about two dozen Bullmark vinyls, and that's it.

If you're looking for a place with content covering anime robot toys, definitely check out ToyboxDX.com. Between here and there, you will get your RDA of Japanese toys, old and new, anime and tokusatsu, robot and kaiju, vinyl and die-cast, etc.

Everyone chant along with me and we shall see!

I think it's a great idea. I think right now its just too clumped in with everything else and it really deserves its own spot.

"O Skullbrain masters, grant us this vintage wish."

I think a section for vintage would be great!
Could be a valuable resource for those that are getting the vintage itch.

I'm definitely up for it - the vintage articles are my favorite part of the magazine; the history is endlessly fascinating (especially to a newcomer like myself). Vin-tage! Vin-tage! Vin-tage!

Personally I'd love to see a vintage section. I'm just getting into the whole kaiju thing (Yes, I came over from KR land. Wait, stop throwing things!). I would really like to get a better grasp on the history of kaiju toys, and also start collecting them (well, some day at least).

Yes. a seperate topic for vintage collectors would be great - the vintage vinyl listserv and Mark Nagata's message board aren't active these days so this is the only place left to exchange info about classic Japanese Kaiju.
