I saw VGA show pics of one of these before, and i thought they looked cool... but why the hell do the auctions go so high? is there something special about these figure (are they old or something?)or do a few people also think they look cool and are willing to lay down some major $$$ for these?

dddiiiizzaaaaammmmnnnnn that is the most I have seen one of those sell for, that is just rediclulous. I have the blue one that I think is way cooler than that flesh one and I only paid 20000yen and that was only about 3 or 4 months ago. I definitely got lucky. the first time I saw them was in Super 7 issue 11 (the black issue) and wanted them so bad. they are actually some of the newer Barom 1 enemies to be made by THN/Rainbow but it seems they are sellin for vintage prices. I really want one of the Barom 1 mouth villains but because of the price hike I probably won't be able to afford it.
