carefully sand of the paint on the 2 flat faces...leave a little on the edges. drill 2 holes that match up on the faces, carefully epoxy in 2 small brass rods...then coat the exposed rod pieces with more epoxy and slide together until bonded. coat the exposed areas of the arm with vaseline before using any glue so if u fuck up you can easily wipe off the glue without causing paint damage.
99% preparation= 100% success. take your time.
superglue wont really work because any force applied will be perpinducular to the break, and superglue only works with parallell or shear breaks.

suprisingly i was quite calm.... i got home one night and just saw it laying there on the floor in two pieces got a bit bummed and then thought to myself that i knew it was bound to happen because it kept tipping over.. i think i was glad that it didnt take anything else down with it.

I have built many many 'pro' level models. one of my sidegigs years ago when I was
not yet an 'artist'. Id build people models for em etc. I still do the occasional crazy scratchbuild once in a while.

Frank, how would you go about lining up the matching drillholes?
That would seem the trickiest part.
Take a ruler and map out both faces???

I reattached my own leg with a drill & a brass rod. Hurts like hell on really cold days, though.
Seriously though, good luck. That break really sucks.

drill and peg one side then line them up so the ends of the rods make alittle mark on the other piece, then drill that out. or use a caliper or compass.

unfortunately i dont think drilling will work... i dont think that the edge is thick enough to to handle it.
