I have received emails galore over the last few years asking me what my collection looks like. Well. I just got done packing it all up (moving to a new place across town) so I decided to share a quick few photos of how it looked before the move. The new stuff was upstairs, so you can only see a few secreter brains hanging around with the Astro-Mu.

Everything looks completely out of control, yet very organized. Wish I could see the collection up close.

Thanks for the exclamation points and emoticons. To answer a few of your questions:

1. How long has it taken to collect it all? I started collecting in 1990, so 17 years now. Back then, it was really hard to find information about any and all of this stuff, so, you really had to want it. I guess this is proof of "wanting it".

2. Yes, those are Martin Ontiveros paintings. The two larger paintings are from his first ever show at Reading Frenzy back in the mid-90's. The smaller middle one is from his third Portland show. (if memory serves me correctly.)

3. I think may hev become more crowded, but not quite sure, as it was alays pretty dense.

4. The cats don't bother the toys at all. The can't get their paws in to step anywhere, so they ignore it.

5. Packing took about a week, as I had to bubble wrap it up something fierce.

6. I will try to find some close up pics, but as it is all packed up, I cannot take those shots now.

7. Jumbo Machinders, that is correct. Great Mazinger, Mazinger-Z and Garada K-7.

-brian

A single tear drips from my eye (much like that of reagan)

This collection makes me so very sad yet happy at the same time, if that makes any sense.

Old skateboards and records are elsewhere. My best is a great original purple metallic Gelfand tank, and my favorite is a flourescent orange Steadham I rescued from a garage back in 1989. There are too many records to mention.

Yes, that is a large scale Barom-1 car, right out of the pages of Super7!
