cronic and Max Toys release soon?
I found this on Max Toys today:

If you have not joined his toy club, now might be the time since it has opened back up for 2007!

Very few of that marble Mav were made - probably less than 5.
Can't wait to see what Koiwa-san and Mark come up with for their collab release!

Holy crap, that is amazing. I'd join the club, but since there is no guarantee I'll be able to get any specific item I'll just have to chance it. Don't really understand why they can't make enough so that everyone in the club can get one - kinda defeats the point IMO...

 cronic
hmm,I can't let the cat outta the bag.. yet But as you guys know Koiwa-san hand paints all his toys.. so we'll see how long it takes him (ha-ha) can't rush the master you know... the figure I showed is as Andy said one of only 5 .... I don't know if he will release this as a normal version or not ....
anyways as I explained before, with the toy club there are now close to 100 members .. so doing a toy club toy in an edition of 100 would exceed the normal editions in most cases. But usually only 30-40 guys want whatever I'm offering in toy club form per offer... so doing ALL offers in editons of 100 just for the members would leave me with a bunch of items not sold , which for a small company such as mine, would not make sense. This last offer, Deathra, only 8 guys did not get the clear version.. otherwise everyone else got one. Bummer if you in the group of 8 but hey look at the bright side, 30 guys got it ..
Anyways, I do warn you if you join you may not get what you want..but over all I think I sent and gave out a free toy or offered 20% discounts over the last year to make it worth it to join.Xams and edward ship in 2 days so we will have them in about 2weeks..Diamond has there Xam orders shipped already

 edward
ya sorry about that glenn .. but I wrote all the names down on a piece of paper , cut it up and had max draw the names from the box... so it was random ;-P someone told me I should do a web video and post the drawings online like a lottery
anyways, I just finished apcking all the overseas orders.. tomorrow I tackle the US ones.. so by the weekend I should be totally caught up. I would think by middle of next week all the deathras should be in your glass cases...
Edward has not been offered for sale... only 4 went to Bwana for his art show at ThrashOut in Japan. the rest are on the boat. They were pre solicted thru Diamond Previews as well. Look for a special exclusive colorway thru a famous online and retail store that starts with an "N" very soon ....and maybe even a small artshow to go with it

Like Mark said, Koiwa-san paints everything by hand. All his "handpaint" and "pinstripe" edition figures are made in small editions (usually 5-15), since Koiwa-san takes a LONG time painting each one. He doesn't factory out his work. Koiwa-san told me in Tokyo last week that he wants his fans to be able to buy kaiju directly made by him.
Anyway I reckon the S7 Dorogami was made in a rather large edition of 40-50, so hopefully enough of the Max Toy figures will be made for most folks to get one.
About the HP Black/White marble Mav, the figure was originally scheduled to be a Wonfest release, but Koiwa-san didn't have time to finish them all, so he gave away the few pieces he made. I don't think the figure will be released again.
