Finally got my set, I thought it was stuck in the mail, but it turns out my package room was keeping it for me without letting me know. Great set! I expected the egg to be flimsy and much smaller, but its huge and very nice. The bakobas are of course awesome just like everything gargamel makes.

The egg is indeed huge -- a lot bigger than I expected.
IMHO, the best aspect of these mini-Bakos is the INTENSITY of the colours. Very very vibrant, more so than usual. They remind me of really strong juice cocktails or mixed tropical tiki drinks.
The colours really "pop" -- electric lemonade, pink grapefruit, and shocking orange. Awesome package, and lovely spots and sprays by Bwana. (Not to mention the excellent print!)

I was just thinking how special this egg is. I know it has been released with figure sets in the past. Does anyone know how many times the egg has been used?

Picked up the pink Bako at the Grass Hut. LOVE IT! The combination of solid pink spray on the head with the lighter spray on other parts of the figure is mind blowing!
(BTW, Bwana doesn't spray the figures. That's done by the Gargamel crew in Tokyo.)

The egg is a problem for me. Too big to display. Not exactly a subtle colour.
So it goes in a closet somewhere.
