Post Ichibanboshi's Eye
so I realized that alot of the members here are wondering why the Ichibanboshi wears the patch on his good eye. so here is the story. I asked Mori about this and he gave me a brief reason why.

The good eye is only revealed during battle. It is the source of energy for him. So if he keeps the eye shown for a long time, he will loose energy and wil not be able to give his all during battles. That is why he keeps the patch over it. of course his head is a skull so he don't have eyelids to keeps his eyes shut.

so here is the reason why he wears the patch over his good eye. I hope this answered alot of members questions. If you want any more unsolved things solved please feel free to ask me and I'll try and get some info. Hope this helps you guys out.

That's some killer info. I think ANY background information on the RxH guys is interesting. Any sort of little stories Mori has behind them, his influence. They're so damn fun, yet so out of reach and mysterious. Thanks.

I'm not a big fan of Real Head figures but I love Ichibanboshi. The exta info makes it even cooler. Thanks BEYOND.

Not just in Naruto. Having a cursed eye seems to be a rather common theme of many anime characters. Heck, I can think of 3 shows airing now with such characters. I think better examples would be Lucia from Venus versus Virus and Sven Vollfied from black cat.

That's an interesting tidbit. I kept wondering which eye to keep the patch on since I've seen photos alternating on each one.

Been waiting for Shippuuden for so long, I couldn't watch the filler anymore. Finally have something to look forward to again.

Me too. I'm ashamed at how addicted I am to this show.

Thanks for the backgroun Hiro,

I thought covering the good eye was a mistake so I've been putting the patch on the bad eye (little did I know i was unleashing a powerful weapon, Cyclops style!)

Hiro,

Please ask Mori what the story behind the Gatchigon and his son is, I love this figure, he is much bigger than I thought and super textured.

Ah the Skull Zombi, a new one huh? I'd have to wait it out, too broke now, but it's nice, goes well with all the clear pink coming out. Hopefully S7 Rocks these too, this particular conversation should be moved to the "Japanese..." threads though. Looks nice as hell though!

They're descending upon Boston this month at Anime Boston 2007.
Those guys and the Final Fantasy Advent Children types.
Some carrying around these ridiculously large (7 foot) homemade swords.

How the hell is it that TT is getting RxH cheaper then S7? WTF? OR are they just underselling to make themselves look good?
