Agreed - he is one of the only members that actually got in touch to offer me stuff he knew I wanted before going the bay-route. Fair prices as well - hail!

Wow! I paid like $35 or $40 bucks for that Cronic Dorogami with the light paint on it. I dig them, but when I first started picking them up, they just sat there for sale nobody touched them. I have the unpainted gray, clear w/guts and the light painted one, all for cheap! I thought they would be pretty easy to collect, crazy!

Wow I'm really surprised to hear this. I'm not sayiing you're wrong or right, but you hang out at S7 all of the time and know the guys pretty well I'm sure.
you don't think it's a bad thing that one of the figures alone sold for a price that was more than the entire set?
i'm not calling you out...I just want to understand why this is ok.
Also makes you wonder how many of those were bought recently from board members or what not...

I have seen figures from this set sell pretty high on eBay even before the Evil went for $286...
So I don't think you can pick on anybody for paying high prices when these figures keep selling for a lot.

end of the day,,
nobody put a gun to anybody's back to pay those prices...it was the buyer's decision...
that is the nature of an auction,,,the highest bidder wins...
i would question the seller a bit more if the starting bid was set ridiculously high,,,but i believe the starting price was quite reasonable in this case...
as for buying things for a reasonable price off here & then putting them up on ebay..that is another judgement call in itself (certainly is not something i would do)..again,,if the start bid is low,,i believe that it is not too scandalous...although,,it may still carry stigma in many people's eyes...

The price is high, but the market dictates price. It is what it is.
It's not like he tried to sell it on this board. As Isaac said, if you wanna flip, take that shit to eBay. which is what he did.

Right. I agree...he took it to ebay and flipped it. End of story. That was the point I was trying to make.
That and wasn't there something before about auction shilling...anyway it's no big deal. I stopped collecting older rxh because the prices are insane. Time to move on to other things..
Oh and that guy made a pretty petty comment one day that really pissed me off so if i feel like picking on him for flipping I will. Thanks for the tip though..

Let me get this straight. You people think buying toys you don't want at "RFSO" prices on this board and then selling them on eBay is an ok thing to do? If so you are fucking dumb shits. He is taking advantage of this board and the people on it.
I'm not surprised toybot is being an apologist he even defended the clam for awhile but what the fuck is wrong with the rest of you?

That's some fucked up shit if that's the case. Anybody who agrees with this practice pull the R,F,S and O off your keyboard and send it to me. You don't deserve them.

Are you guys sure he bought all that stuff from this board? If so, that's one thing. If not, it's nobody's fucking business really.

It is disappointing if somebody gets a good deal on a cool toy as a result of this site with no other intention but to sell it on eBay immediately.
Glen is that what you are saying? but more forcefully in your Bully way, of course.
