It might be interesting to note that the Dragamel neck and head consist of 3 separate pieces, that can be taken out or added. You can make a short neck, an extra long one, and also pose the neck/head in all sorts of positions. Plus it's the biggest Gargamel figure out so far. It's huge. Downer! . . . I passed coz the neck looked kinda odd too! . . . . Just curious . . . is the minimum 1 'ball' joint or can the head be attached directly to the body?
Yes, you are right. The minimum is one ball for the neck. The head can't be attached directly to the body.

I think the standard-sized Dragamel neck is really cool.
If some of you watched enough Ultraman, you would see some monsters whose necks are similar.
-10 for the neck haters!

in a later post there may be some of the "sets" left once they arrive, preorders are closed. The set gives you the zag, bako and mightin.

Looks like that Tetran is the original colorway, I never realized it was based on a vintage toy till I came across this pic:
Anyone have a picture of a vintage Beralgon?

whoa! cool! now the question is one ball or two? three balls seems a bit superfluous

For functionality, one ball is more than enough, unless you prefer otherwise for aesthetic reasons.

Its like the cat in a bathtub, Tryin to fit more than one ball in there at once can be painfull, and sometimes just is not appropriate.
