Thanks for the kind words, all!

Temples are full of so much art: sculptures, carvings, paintings, etc. So I took the shots there with that in mind, to pair the figures with the amazingly vibrant colors and beautiful imagery of the temple.

I've thought about taking a group shot of all my figures but won't do that indoors unless the lighting is right, and don't know if I want to bring so many figures outdoors at once. Anyway, there will be more themed group shots in the coming weeks!

Cronic is the company/"artist name" of Naoki Koiwa, an independent Japanese artist who designs/sculpts/paints/etc his kaiju figures. So far he has five different sculpts.

Most of his releases are in very small numbers, since he does everything himself (he also works full time, as an architect), in the range of 5-15 figures per version.
