A little while ago there was a set of the four on Yahoo JP for around $450. I decided not to bid and it was the worst SB mistake I've made so far. Althought I never followed the auction so I don't know if it went for higher.

Thanks for the news! It makes me feel better knowing it was out of my league. Better to have not had a chance then to have had one and dropped the ball.

does anyone know what the suggested retail price was for each of these?

then maybe i wouldn't be as embarrased to post what i paid for each of them.

i now have a complete skullwing collection save for the new horror wings.

You know how it goes. Some will say "what ever you were willing to pay for them is what they are worth". Which I suppose is true. But you know...there's a reasonable price and then there's outright robbery.

I bought Koziks Blue GID for $150. It was worth it for me because I don't have the yahooJP thing rockin yet and this was my best chance at getting this one.

I think $800 sounds about right.

I'm no expert on these so I don't want to feed you my 1/2 assed guesses and have you pay too much but going off of the Kozik sale I think he got around $750 for his set when all was said and done.
