Question for my fellow vintage vinyl old farts....
In the occasional find that's still in it's package.....do you open or leave bagged? With new toys I don't hesitate, but with the occasional bagged Popy vinyl and even rarer bagged Bullmarks from the 70's, I'm hesitant to bust 'em open....

I would not hesitate to free it from it's long imprisonment. Life is too short.
In the end we pass away just to have next fella enjoy the toys we leave behind MIB.

Even though it kills the "value" (think rare, still sealed LP's) - the bagged vintage pieces I've had over the years - I always open 'em up. I like displaying these things -not keeping them in a plastic tub, hermetically sealed.

Y'know, it's funny...I'm not even thinking value. I just think, it lasted in it's funky packaging (love the old skool packaging) for so long, intact, and I'm going to come along and bust it open....
There's no way I can keep them in there, though....I'll just do it gingerly...

I generally bust them out of the bags unless I bought them especially because they were bagged. Buying bagged toys is also a good way to get nice condition catalog/posters.
