Don't get me wrong, I love those games, but they wouldn't have been made if SFII hadn't been huge.

Sorry guys, I loved video games before toys and for whatever reason this figure brings the nostalgia for me.

nothing beats Samurai Showdown 2!!!!

the gameplay was unlike any other fighter...skilled joystick swoops required...not just button/combo bashing

it got a little too amped & quick for its own good on the third version me thinks..

number two was perfection...

Hell I can't recall which versions I had/played. I hated Fatal Fury until a freind of my challenged me.
This subject has me looking at my PS2 which I haven't touched in over a year and a half, and that was for "Destroy all Humans"

I am actually a pretty hardcore Neo Geo guy, but I am more into the puzzle games, Money Puzzle Exchanger and Magical Drop in particular. BUT Samurai Spirits 2 is probably one of the most balanced fighters ever made. MOTW rocks too.

Yeah yeah...green shintosan is cheesy but he's a nice shade of green! I'm probably going to have to finally pick up one of those green pinwheels to go with it too...Also love the SF parody header art that Gargamel did too. Can't remember if it's on the back of all the pinwheel headers or what.

All love for SNK and the Neo Geo/MVS. Hands down the greatest number of FUN games, at least on "arcade" hardware.

I definitely had the whole MVS setup when I had all my arcade stuff. Samurai Spirits/shodown one was great because of the uniqueness of the characters and weapons. 2 was just an amazing game overall. I can't remember 3 very well. I played alot of the fourth one for some reason...anyway, yeah great puzzle games as well. And don't forget Mahjong with the special dedicated controller! Good times.

edit: Oh yeah MOTW, mark of the wolves right? That was pretty great too. I didn't know what you were talking about at first because I think I had that JP cart for that so it was always ...Garou or something, lol.

I like the green version, but prefer the black. Maybe I'm just telling myself that because I don't want to go after the chase figure, but either way I gotta try to get one of these dudes. I've always kinda liked Bigaroid, but with him too it depended on the colors. The yellow one is the one to get, for me, now I HAVE to so this guy has a rival!

Just curious ... did you happen to find out? I'm assuming there are fewer green than black but that's just an assumption based on the "secret" designation.

The green/white Shintosan is extremely vibrant in person. I haven't seen any photos that convey just how spectacular the minty-fresh hue really is.

Oh man, now I can't wait to get it in hand! I want the black super bad too, but gotta pick and choose, and I like gaudy and bright in the end more.

I dig Shintosan. I want a black one!

Maybe I missed it, but how tall does it stand?

hmmm...after looking at it again....I'm getting second thoughts (when I think of how much it would cost to own one)

Might grow on me more as time goes on.

I know this miught be "old news" but whatever, just got the green one in, this thing is massive! It's great, I gotta get some picture time in this weekend, to make it worth while I'll throw in other crap too, but this guy rocks! If you hate it from pics, you'll probably hate it more in real life, if you kinda like it in pics, you'll LOVE IT!
