Post Edward the Gator Question
Has anyone seen in person Bwana's Edward the Gator figure at a show or maybe on of his customs? I'm wondering about the quality of the figure & how the sculpt looks first hand. I assume Max Toy Co is had these made in China, so there is no sight unseen assurance like with Gargamel. But on the other hand, Steven was made in China & he is muy bueno.
Anybody?

The figure is more complicated than Steven, but if you like the picture/design, then you will like the actual figure. Neither Bwana nor Max Toys would sell it if the quality was not good. I have seen several of them and they are better in person than on a computer screen.

Hope that helps.

I can second that - the quality appears to be high.

Biff,

I have a edward custom, actually edward #1. I belive these customs are made from prototype figures, that will ultimently differ from the finished product. My friend keeps saying the custom feels like a lump of clay. Which I agree with.

The sculpt is very detailed, far more than steven the bat, also considerably larger. I would guess the vinyl quality will not be unlike steven, but the detail and accesories are awesome!. The catcher net is made from a wooden dowel, true prototype style.

My fig is very heavy and soft/ plyabel, but, again I belive the finished product will be lighter. the only downfall to my custom is the fact he cannot stand up alone. Maybe the soft materal got too hot in shipping, then stuck in an aqward position, but he wont stand for the life of him.

Anyways, I still recomend the figure %100, it seems to be top-notch.

Maxtoyco has sort of traditional Gator colours, kinda agree with you Abe on preferring green but the orange looks good too
