Don't take it so hard, Skylar - some people have no idea what the concept of criticism is all about. True enthusiasm breeds a certain type of prickliness - I used to get criticized all the time regarding my opinions on music. If I didn't care, I wouldn't comment - that's the whole thing.

I myself love the lucky bag concept - and I'll love it even more if I can actually get one, living as I do in the wilds of Wisconsin.

Surprises are awesome. Waiting and anticipation are fun! Skylar was really cool at SDCC last year, his internet personality isn't anything like he was in person.

Someone left a flaming bag on my doorstep last night. It was a surprise, but I wouldn't call it "lucky."

i met skylar at sdcc last year behind me in the pushead line.. he was a cool . i was just trying to say is... why are we complaining about people who don't like S7's lucky bag offer (i think that is what this thread is about) when no one said they didn't like it in the first place? it's like we're rallying against imaginary trolls... doesn't make sense to me.

I've felt this way since the spring of 1983, when I got Star Wars figures with cardbacks that had little black blobs over the characters named "Wicket," "Chief Chirpa," etc.

You can imagine my disappointment when I found out what was under those blobs.

Well c'mon, wot was under the blobs?

Star Wars teddy bears with teeth that made it hard for a lot of us OG SW fans to keep being fans? :-)

At least it wasn't Jar-Jar.

I'm really a nice, friendly guy. I swear.

those who know me in person know that I can get cranky sometimes (it's fun!!)

but I don't necessarily like this rep I'm getting as a total I FART A LOT (actually, only half of me doesn't really like it, the other half thinks it's funny) so I'll go back to keeping my whiny comments to myself I guess, since everyone around here seems to hate complaining so much

I know another place where I can go and successfully piss and moan

Troublemaker. ahhahahahaha
Personally I like how you mix it up here.

The hobby gets a bad rap cause so many people lack patience these days.
It's all instant gratification. I NEED this figure NOW.

That really gets old from my perspective. It's like grow the fuck up.

I have notoriously poor luck when it come sot lucky bags, whatever the most common assortment is I am guaranteed to get it. My friends will actually make me pick first to get the "worst" one out of the way.

But I think the blind bags will discourage ahole speculators and flippers. They’re aren't as likely to put money down on a risk as a collector is.

But I was also the kid that snuck a peek at Xmas.

the problem with the lucky bags is that this concept isn't well known.
"Lucky Bags from supermakets" will change a vegetarian or a fastfoodjunky or or or
"Lucky Bags from music stores" ..KJB will find new friends
:D
"Lucky Bags from the sex shops" open our mind for new styles of xxx..
Lucky Bags rules and will make the world a better place :!: :!: :!:

S7 should secretly sneak in some "Sucky Bags", where you pay $225 and get a whole bunch of lame toys you don't want

I like "lucky bags". I even like  "blind assortment". The surprise for me will be logging on to find they are all sold out. Actually not much of a surprise.
