maybe i'm a skate conservative,,but i think only skate companys should make decks....also this skate deck art thing of the last couple years is lame IMO.... unless it's through consolidated skateboards DON'T DO IT
I was talking to someone about Vanity Decks the other day... agreed that they're kinda whack. Although I'm doing decks with a killer and small skate co and I designed myself a vanity pro model.

Well those decks are at least twice as cool as the bags. Bag, plaid and SB logo...
The toys are what makes them great, they could have put up an image of a Ghostfighter and I would buy it.

how about a vinyl cap that looked like a squishy brain? perfect for rainy days and for that ultimate fan look...
the messenger bags would be much cooler if they had a big skullbee or patterned print more related to SB. or if they had interesting plaid....or batman sheets...basically anything else---when basic black is more interesting than the patterns, there might be a problem with the color scheme!

xoconostle wrote: Really, why shouldn't they do the "lifestyle boutique" thing that BxH, KAWS, and KR have already done? Good for the bottom line and continued viability. We can only hope that they don't let the apparel and accessories take over at the expense of the toys, as a KR has done in the past year.
Just to clarify: SB have been doing the whole "lifestyle boutique" thing longer than both Kaws and KR, basically from their inception. The two have always sat comfortably together, in a Bounty Hunter influenced kind of way, but with a much stronger emphasis on the toys than BxH.
