That game was indeed amazing...pretty hard though. Love it when you caught the shooting star and morphed into the giant robot! That made no sense, but was awesome!

I was a big fan of Galaga, Dig Dug and Centipede as a youngster...hated that damn Qbert though...!
There is an arcade here that has all old video games...defender, armor attack (green vector graphic tank game---think thats the name), tron, etc...
Never did play a lot of those fighting games as a kid...
this thread does bring back a couple of hazy memories...

Here's one of my favs. Side-scrolling beat 'em up with a hip-hop theme, complete with very questionable racial stereotypes. Bizarre.

Does anyone remember Thundercade? It was a vertical shooter, but you were on a motorcycle and could get sidecar powerups. I liked the arcade version better than the NES one.

straightoutta..LOKASH wrote: Puzzlefighter had me at the arcade for hours just working clowns over.I love that game sooo much, Im buying a PS2 again just to play it and all the other street fighter games.
Favorites: Puzzle Fighter Bust a Move(bubble bobble) Captain America and the Avengers Marvel Vs Capcom Darkstalkers and this game where you could play the Cowboy or his Native AmericaN Buddy, I dont remember the name , but it was a side scrolling old west type game, the first or second level had you riding your horse next to a speeeding train shooting bad dudes.Any one know what the name of the game is?
darkstalkers is amazing....looking. It plays ok but really looks great.
the characters would eventually make their way over to thet capcom team-up/Vs. titles where they would get cleaned up. I own alot of darkstalkers related toys.
anybody heard the pixies cover of the Narc theme? what a great B side.
