Post Pirtaes of the Caribbean: At world end
Saw the movie, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At world end' last nite. In my opinion, it was the best of the lot. The starting was a bit drag, but necessary.
In this installment, the villains roles are downed played, in true Disney nature, heroes prevail. Keith Richard was a cool SOB.
It shows some links to the first movie, I guess it was their ideas to relate all 3 movies.

i just saw it, i'm a sucker for these movies

it was fun and the action scenes are amazing.

the first will always be my favorite by far, but they did alot more right with this one than in the second one (shocker)

I'm really looking forward to it - I loved the first one, but the second was more than a little underwhelming. Glad to hear positive remarks about part III.

Just saw it too. Definitely the strongest of the three imho. The action was amazing, and it wrapped things up nicely.

Post PIRATES
Yup, The 2nd stinks a little, I hated the cannibal scene, It was an utter waste of gd film. in the 2nd, Davy Jones was a real menace, thou.

I thought this was terrible. Now I can't even enjoy the first one anymore thanks to these sequels.

So....will Pirates 3 smash Spiderman 3 box office revenues?

I predict Pirates 3 will prevail as king of the box office in 2007...but then again you got the Simpsons and Transformers on their way.

saw it last night and while it was better than 2, nothing beats the first one. the end battle was a bit over the top with a little too much going on at once for me but iguess that's hollywood nowadays. i feel like they are squeezing blood from a stone by doing more too. oh well.

finally went there last night.

because i owed my girlfriend a big favor
for taking her out to so many weird horror b-movies lately
it was her turn to select.

liked the first and second episode
but this one seemed to last forever.
anyway best thing about going there was seeing the
trailer for transformers!!! ...amazing.

this week were going to zodiac,
seeing the length of it as great revenge.

the nods to the actual ride (the actual audio duing the blackout scene; the dog bringing the key in his mouth) made me SOOOOO excited to go back at the end of the month. I can't wait to ride it a hundred times.

no matter how good the movies get, they will never compare to the musty cave like smell, the green water, and the pirate animatronics.
