At first I thought the line was for some toy (like usual) but than I saw the sign. Is that the 1st/only one in Japan? Or do they just like KK that much?

My record is 2 full boxes of 12 in one sitting, over the course of a 2.5 hr movie heh.

The next day I have never cursed so much or prayed to god as much whilst on the toilet :(

I wonder how many of these people walked past a Beard Papa on their way to KK. Meanwhile I am waiting in a Bear Papa in line in SF. It's nice to know our cultures share similar insanities.

I think the Japanese just like to wait in huge lines. :D

Krispy Kremes are great right out of the fryer (what isn't?), but after they sit for a minute they just okay.

after they sit for a minute and cool down they are no different than the donuts you get at a grocery store bakery section.
but then again maybe my palette is not as refined.

When Krispy Kreme opened in Seattle, everyone went apeshit and swarmed the stores. Now, I think they are about to go bankrupt. They are literally mostly hot air.

 that can't be healthy

Beard Papa himself dropped by at my last visit to mark 1 year at the SF location... they even gave me a free Beard Papa umbrella for buying a dozen!

All the world loves Crispy Creme. They came from the South...

When I was a kid, there was a greasy, nasty one in Biloxi, Mississippi.
You'd only get 'em to go on a munchy run.

When I moved to Seattle in '97, there was a super fancy one outside of town with huge lines to get thru the drive thru. Plus lots of people actually eating inside.

Now, I see Crispy is world wide. (and much cleaner too)
