I don't believe in hunting for sport. eh...not my thing. I could see the people's problem with this since the kid did it JUST to do it. THe animal was running away the whole time. It just seems kind low. Wishing the plague on all who shares his family name is a little overboard IMO. Thanks to the hate, maybe the kid will start hunting people one day.

I woulda shot that hog with a bow and arrow straight gangsta if it was in my backyard, though. That's some scary shit. I don't even have a gun--or like them--so bow and arrow...yeah.

Pigs eat just about anything, so I wouldn't risk it. BEARS scare the mess out of me.

Other pics have been published of the hog hanging by his feet with the boy and dad standing nearby...the hog appears to be of a much more acceptable size than that first pic would have you believe. Whether it was photoshop trickery or a matter of perspective which made it appear so huge in that first photo, I haven't read.

I want to see the pig trompin around in a zoo somewhere while my daughter feeds it pellets from a quarter despencer machiene.
