Okay, I will be starting the Official Overseas Balzac Fan Club (Fiendish Club International) very soon - June 6th, to be exact. I wanted to post about this here on Skullbrain because the FCi will be the only place to get the rare Balzac figures from now on - they will no longer be available to everyone through SxWxW.

SxWxW and SxExU will continue to get some "regular" toys, but the FCi is going to have all the special ones (those are what we all want, no?). The catch is to get in on all the toy action you must siign up within the first 1 month window. After that, you are outta luck.

The only way to get the initial exclusive toy is to become a GOLD member.
We have a lot of plans for new merchandise and toys so don't miss out.

Oh yeah, and if you live in Japan, sorry - we won't ship to you.

I will be making up the actual FCi HP soon. I will also make sure everyone knows so no deadlines are missed.

For the GOLD (name's probably gonna change!) MEMBERSHIP, there is going to be a limited time-only type deal. I will accept memberships from June 6th to July 7th only. Also, there is limited space as well for the GOLD. I don't know how many people will want to sign up, but we want to keep the toys still very limited and collectible, not just make 500 of them... so there will be a cut-off at some point (this is still not decided as well). As thing progress I will keep everyone informed.

I don't know what time I will open up registration and I probably won't post the exact time... It's going to work a little differently because I will need the application filled out (aka web forms) and that will be sent to me by email.

I will then manually go through the emails in the order they arrive and create a PayPal 'pay now' invoice. That will be sent to you, then once the funds have been paid I will email you with your FCi number and pertinent info.

So, if you all wanna mad rush in it's okay... it still might take a couple days (or more depending on how many applications I get) to go through everything.

Once you get your info email you can access the FCi HP member's area, but the FCi member free gifts (including the Obake toy) will be shipped a month (or more depending on production times). I would say around August-ish.

So the toy is basically made to order? And the amount produced is directly related to the number of FCi Gold members?

Yes! Except there is a secret cut-off point for the amount of GOLD members we will accept. All I can say is the cut-off point is not so low that people will miss out on the toy if they sign up pretty quick. However, if you wait too long there is a chance you might miss out. Evil? Maybe. But, we don't want to make 500 toys or something - then they are no longer limited!!

It's for life!

Yes, all memberships are for life...however, if you want to get the new and updated "new member's free gift package", then you can pay a small 'membership update' fee (this just covers the cost of the new items and shipping). The "new member's free gift package" will be updated each year on June 6th.

This is not quite correct.
Both membership's open June 6th (only GOLD is limited-time-only until July 7th). Signing up for GOLD in that time frame is the ONLY way to get the Occulta Obake... but, in the future when more FCi toys are released REGULAR members can also purchase them - they will not be free gifts.

Now, when the "new free gifts" are renewed, there won't be a renewal toy (only new t-shirt, stickers, bags, cd's, etc - technically, everything but a new toy). So, the renewal fee would not get you a new toy.

Here's the deal though... if you become a GOLD member now, you are then able to get even more extra limited merchandise (different toy headers, extra stickers, trading cards, etc) when you purchase the same items as the REGULAR members. The first time this will come into effect is if you buy the Pink TWIM Bomberkid toy from SxWxW, and then you sign up as a GOLD member in the FCi, you will get a special bonus, plus I think you will get a numbered figure. Prettty good deal if you ask me.
