No way, missy! I don't often drink soda, but when I do that's my sode of choice (or ginger ale). Squirt on a hot summer day is the best...and none of that Ruby Red crap!

Ha! I'm with you guys on this - Squirt rules! Tangy citrus goodness . . . mmmm. Don't know if this is available where y'all are, but there's a soda called 50/50 which is quite similar - grapefruit and lime flavor. I(t was originally a Wisconsin-only thing until Canfield's took it over).

That does seem like an odd flavor combo, but then on recent visits to S7, I've stopped at the Japanese market down the street to pick up grape soda with bits of aloe vera flesh in it, which is actually delicious, so ...
My friend Mason used to publish Ongaku Otaku magazine. He'd occasionally hold these little taste tests of all the "weird" flavors of sodas and chewing gum that he'd buy in Japan or from Japantown here in SF and then publish the taste test party results. After trying a bunch of "weird" Japanese product flavors, "weird" doesn't seem so weird anymore.
Is there a Durian soda somewhere in Asia? Durian Pop Skullbrain ... so tasty, yet so stinky!

That's brilliant. A company here in Milwaukee just came out with a cucumber soda (more of a cucumber/tonic water lend) specifically for mixing with gin. Haven't had a drink made with it, but it's great on its own.
Oh, and everyone's had the fabulous Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray soda, right?

Here's their website (they also have a myspace page, I think) - I don't know if they're distributing outside of the city yet, but it's worth checking out.

And yeah, I'd really like to try that Pepsi as well.
