Well to keep Brian's oath intact we could have everyone who got one post their name. I'm sure the count will be a little short but we could get close. Or would that ruin the Magic?
I got one, my first ever exclusive figure. I loves it...my precious...

I feel privilaged to have one then!!!, it sounds like not many at all. I'm guessing around the 30/35 mark.

I picked one up, and I still have it, but I get the sense that this is becoming a pointless witchhunt. Who knows what the circumstances are. It seems like an isolated example, and I am sure that under enough duress, any number of us would re-sell a figure (I realize that the motivations are likely different in this case). If they are already in the situation of trying to capitalize on the rarity of the "commodity" (as the Japanese are so fond of referring to the toys, LOL) then what is the likelihood that any ostracism here is going to have much effect? I suspect that whoever it is really doesn't give a sh*t either way.
It just seems like these sorts of situations are bound to happen due to the vagaries of human nature. I think one person flipping their ghostfighter probably shouldn't warrant a Gestapo patrol though...

I definitely don't think its cool to flip stuff but I had started thinking, what if the peeps that belong to the SB fanclub had never sold/flipped their fan club only figs in Japan then none of us would have any of those exclusives so i guess in a way it makes this guy available to an audience that wouldn't normally be privy to get one but it also undermines what we all cherish...

I thought we were starting a list to figure out how many were made.

See, exactly! There are many facets to this issue. I think it has affected us all from one side of the equation or the other, both negatively, and otherwise.

Yeah, I sort of realized this after the fact, but I still apply my previous comments to some of the earlier sentiment of the thread.

No! No!
I was definitely thinking along the lines of figuring out a relative production number. Not a hit list of who is selling them.
I just wanted to know how "special" I am. And not in the way people usually mean when they refer to me.

I have no problem with flipping I was just suprised someone bought this figure just to flip it. This community seems to be less prone to flipping so I thought it was worth pointing out.
The price is not to high right now, I am ashamed to say if I did not have one I would be bidding on it.

The irony is that if the final selling price is close to the starting price, it won't have been a very worthwhile 'flip.'
Not much return on investment there. It'll be interesting to see how high it really goes...

On the bright side, if it does sell for a high price maybe a bunch of flippers will become subs of the magazine. That would be good for Brian.

hehe, yes. Maybe that was the subterfuge at play here with Brian's plan to increase subscribership!

It does suck when subbers who want to keep it couldn't get hold of it...there should be an interview when you buy it

mmm..seems like a lot of fuss about one for sale - this is hardly like the Kaws/Pus everyone and his brother (literally) buying and flipping them minutes later, or the ongoing Jled debauchery.
I agree with the points above about how we would never have some of our classic pieces if not for Japanese resellers, and none of us are aversed to using YJ. Atleast the price is not outrageous, I mean Frank was charging similar prices for regular Ghostfighters and no one complained. Maybe this person selling it got one and wasn't feeling it - and at this moment is fearful of an anti-flipping witch hunt, or maybe isn't even aware that Skullbrain.org exists? Let's be cool about it.
And Johnny, sorry u didn't get one first time around - I'm sure one will turn up. Lately everyone is selling stuff.

It was up here for $70, but it looks like it was sold. Maybe you can PM in case it falls through.
