Hey i may be new but i got into kaiju the same time i got into other "art toys." Since i'm 23 i'm probably younger then some here and living in the city i have a strong connection with that whole scene of my generation.

All the cheap platform toys are heavily pushed in these venues so obviously i heard about that first. Still when i came online and researched it obviously the ethics and the quality of things that come from this board and it's conduits far outmatched anything else, so now i don't even utter the word [expletive deleted]. I guess it just seems like a lot of people are targeting new people as bangwagoners. But it just generalizes any new hobbyists. I was into this sort of thing as a kid but i had no clue it got translated onto the internet and has been operating without me knowing.

Sure it's harder to get things now but you knew that would happen in the 2 years your accounts have been running. I probably would have got here sooner if i haden't been learning italian in Rome and doing weird shit in Europe.

But that's besides the point, basically the more this type of cynism creeps it's way into matters the less fun and the less joking around happens. People been getting real angry lately, even myself a little.

Basically i was just saying that i keep seeing posts of people taking stabs at the new guy and since i'm one of the new guys i thought i'd give a little perspective so that i'm not lumped in with the masses in a negative way. If i was here 16 months earlier i'm sure i'd be argueing from their standpoint but since i'm not then i thought i'd make my voice heard instead of being stabbed at, it's not very welcoming.

Sorry if that is uncalled for, i was just responding to the above. The direction of the thread was already steered there, so don't look at me like i'm the boogeyman.
