From photos I liked the Obake the best. It was the first SB figure I picked up, and once I got it I too was a bit disappointed. But eventually I found the SB sculpt for me - the Skullbrain! Now it's the only SB I'll buy.
I dunno what it is about the Obake - it's quite photogenic, but in hand it's missing something.

i totally agree with this! i bought the GNO obake because i thought it looked so good in the pictures, but as soon as i had it in hand i was a bit disappointed, maybe because its so front heavy and a pain to stand up, i still love it, but just not as much as the brains, wings and pirates i have...

Pretty much all the sculpts come with both (gloves/hands) - it just varies. I personally prefer the gloves, but several of my 'Brains have hands.
I think the Bagmen and Barbarians all have hands, and it seems that most Mantii have hands.

Obake is my asolute favorite, then skullbee! The GNO 06 was my first SB figure and yes, I was very dissapointed that it doesnt GID, but I justlove the concept of the figure in general.

I put a gid atomos clear purple pumkin skull figure inside the clear orange obake sheet and its looks focking awesome!!!! And the barbarian dood is sweet too~

I want a skullwing and skullpirate, but they're a bit to come by for a Fresh Meat like me!

although i rarely buy SB these days, (i have SO many already!!!)

they have released many completely amazing toys and comprise a large part of my collection.

i will always respect and be fond of them for all they have given us fight figure collectors. i adore my SB figs. u really should not judge SB on one piece, since they are really about so many things.

btw, remember a few years ago when the obake was such a huge (american) fan favorite?
bees will always be mine :) but its interesting to see how tastes change with time and new figs

Hey, I think that's normal for SB stuff. I mean, I felt the same way with my Artoyz Obake. A bad first figure, a crappy umpteenth figure.

I like a couple SB figs I've seen, but they just don't do it for me. Prices aer high, colorways are yawn. bleh... and they don't really start to make much sense unless you got a trillion of them or the especially rare ones. I don't like how that works, but to each his own. people love SB all over. We all do what we like.

I took my fightamins with my hatorade this morning.
It's blasphemy, I know. I'll go and repent.
