figured it out!!

it is based on a character from Kinnikuman named Kinkotsuman (bones and tendons man)

he was supposed to be the opposite of the main character Kinnikuman (muscles man)

Wow cool! I always thought it was based on a Kamen Rider because of the scarf. Now you've ruined me with yet another character I must hunt for! Def one of my favorite Skullbrains.

the japanese ones are a lot softer and will be easier to cram inside a toy... but they will cost you a bit more unfortunately

Does anyone happen to know what he's singing about?

it's going to be costly and it is going to be raw... the original series has never been translated to english for some reason

i dont know where to buy it exactly, but i think some people at www.littlerubberguys.com have the original dvd's so you could ask there

a few members there are actually working on dubbing the entire series and have a translated script and such :)

Wow pickleloaf! When you do research, you don't mess around :D

I went to a store that had bucketfuls of those "little rubber guys" and bought the Mixer Taitei. Didn't know what it was, I just liked the figure. Now I have to go back and get a bag of those little figs to put in the figure.
