came across this item on yja, from translation he is called demon human. he looks kinda repulsive and beautiful at the same. his body is like a mixture of melted candle wax and raw abalone. i also like his black pants/boots. plus 2 heads are always better than 1.

anyone know the origins of this guy. do the heads come off or permanently attached to hands? any info greatly appreciated.

Yes, new Barom-1 figure coming from Rainbow.

That is the Barom 1 neck demon, an upcoming release from Rainbow. The YJ auction is most likely a pre-order since they're scheduled for a Sept. release. This may be a Hyper Hobby magazine exclusive but I'm not positive. It is being released at the same time as the claw demon and the thorn/spike demon. Rainbow makes some very nice figures imho.

man, are there any ways one could jump on these to actually get one, and not pay 500 dollars for the hand demon kaiju? that will be on my holy grail list forever.

I try to get them when they're offered as pre-orders. Typically $80-$100 each that early. These things seem to skyrocket in price only a few months after release.

S7 may still be able to pre-order one if you're interested though this auction looks to be a better price. Check with Isaac.

thanks for the pics. had no idea, they were totally different styles. one is plant like and the other crab claw like. i still like the neck demon the best.

Yeah, I think the neck demon is my fav of the 3, although I want them all. Keep your eyes open in July, Rainbow is releasing the Frankeruge, dragonfly demon, and mushroom demon. The hair demon and Doruge (leader demon) were released at the end of May and already the prices are on the rise at YJA. Not sure of the production #'s, but the immediate price increases are insane.

I haven't heard anything about different colorways. The thorn demon is the Hyper Hobby exclusive, the neck demon is the Toei-Hero Net (THN) exclusive and the claw demon is the Rainbow mail-order exclusive.

I think there are still Yahoo J auctions for the Doruge and hair demon. I love both of them. The black version is the Toei-Hero Net (THN) version and the blue is the Rainbow mail-order version. They've produced/are scheduled to produce 8 demons this year. I hope they keep up production 'cause there are a few more I'd love to see in vinyl..the Ikaruge is definitley 1 of them. Would also like to see a sea cucumber demon, sort of reminds me of the Marmit VP Balzas without the head tentacles.
