Just got back from the medicom party - with previews of many upcoming releases including Star wars series 8... and 9. Big News. The new series are figures from the new movies. anankin at various ages, padme, C3P0, clone troopers, jango fett, droid soldiers, imperial guards and Darth Maul. (no Jar Jar - thank GOD!)

also coming - I predicted it to my own surprise - UltraSeven & king Joe.. schweeeet.
Plus there was a whole corner of Kaws Krap I will let someone else break that news...

Hmmm......new star wars movies as kubricks? Do they look really good? The sound of that bums me out.

Yeah I'm on the same page. Unless they blow my mind, which probably won't happen I'll be sticking to only the OT ones.

But let's be honest, we knew it was only a matter of time. We had that feeling on series 7, that they might do something weird. Then they put the blue guard in there.

next year a whole slew of toy companies will be releasing stuff based on the new clone wars series. if you aren't happy hearing data's news wait until you see all the new characters popping up in 2008...BIG BOOM!

I like the animated clone wars so that will be cool. I was just so bummed on how the 3 pre movies turned out. They seem so cheesy, and not in a good way. They didn't do anything for me, yet I still watch them and love them because they are part of the SW world......I can't quit the wars.


I'm sure I'll get stoked on them, it's just hard to swallow at first.

i agree...ep 1, 2 and 3 just did not tug on my heart like the other 3 did. i don't think they ever will either...sad...

I guess one of the chase figures from the last wave (blue Royal Guard) was our hint that this was coming.

Maybe I'll pick up some of the droids and imperial guards. I wonder if they will start mixing up the movies alot within the series or if one series will be the "new" movies and another the "old" again...
