"I Was Made for Loving You" totally rules! I love their crappy disco! Queen did disco too, which brings me to loving your "Princes of the Universe" usage in your sig.

"I Was Made For Lovin' You" was painful, but i still loved it. KISS was my first concert 1979 in make-up. Saw them twice that year Judas Priest opened for them. "Princes of the Universe", Highlander right?

Freddie was a pure genius, Disco queer. Queen to me, will always be a pop band, never on my rock list. Most geniuses are queer.

Freddie was the coolest. No one, NO ONE, could pull off yellow leather and a mustache like that dude. I kinda don't consider KISS rock, but pop, but that's just ME.
Anyway, hopefully soon we'll know what's up with datas awesome avatar. I gotta be at the hospital early in the AM so I'm sure I'll miss a lot overnight.

Late post here:
YES, Gene is a cynical republican a-hole! Anyone ever read that Spin atricle he wrote where he suggested that if u don't take a vacation ever you'll be better of and have more money? What teh fuck about rock n roll all night AND party every day?
But Paul rules - he spent 15 minutes chatting to me and my Uncle in my local Ralph's market, mainly about musical theatre. His girl was hot AND super nice too. Great guy!!!! Altho, his shirt was unbuttoned to teh waist, and the produce aisle was kind of chilly - I mean I'd have been out of there!
Try being the ONLY KISS fan at your Northern English school in the 70's? Make-up = gay...according to the lumpen morons anyway.
Man they were the first band I truly loved, to me they were superheroes straight out of the pages of Marvel comics, but REAL! I sat thru two showings of te attrocious EMpire of teh ANts (with Joan Collins and a bunch of bad mock up giant ants) so I could see Kiss meets the Phantom of teh Park twice in a local cinema.
When I finally got my first cahnce to see em in 1983 I was heart broken teh make-up was gone, but teh show was still awesome. Eric Carr drove around teh stage on this tank shaped drum kit! By the way, I also saw Maiden the same year - and loved both!
That avatar is RULING - I love it and want a tee. Like I said elsewhere, IO spent weeks embrodering (yes, u heard me, metal kids used to do that) the album cover over the back of my jacket - a classic!
So, uh, who actually craeted that RxH version...i still don't know, and forgive me if its buried in a thraed somewhere....
