I got a promo copy this week of Given to the Rising and I am pretty impressed with it. Although it doesn't venture far from where the band has been, it treads some new ground. The guitar tones have changed a bit and I find this one has allowed a bit more synth and soundscape ambience than previous records. I'm definitely gonna go buy the double lp.

Despite it being really hard to make a choice, I still think Times of Grace is my favorite but this one is pretty rad.

I always like what I hear of tribes better..
but the relapse/release comps were always.. interesting listens
