Can someone help me ID these guys. Most have their tags.
(I was cleaning out my garage and found them... I purchased them back early 1990s from a local Comic Shop.) Do they have value? Thanks!!

All but one are from the Ultra Series
These have been in production with subtle variations for years.
Most can be found for 12-15... Certain figures (Hipporito and King Joe)
are sometimes worth a bit more.

I would argue that fig that refererces to old school ultra Kaiju should go in the Vintage Vinyl Forum - those Bandai figs are older than the marmit repros in another thread.

Hipporito, Mephilas, Baltan, Imperial Godzilla
King Joe, Astromons, Padon
Gikogyler, Windom, Godola

I would agree that these figures tend to run about $10-15 each. Without a tag maybe $5. Of the figures you have here the Baltan, Gikogyler, and Godola are towards the higher end. Gikogyler is from Ultraman 80 and has two color variations, neither of them recent. The Godzilla has little or no value IMO- but some goiji freaks would disagree I’m sure. Not high value on these I know, but you’re still looking at a $90-135 value for the lot on a good day. There are hundreds of different figures available, most with vinyl and spray variations. The oldest figures with plastic tags from the mid-80’s are slowly creeping up in value and range in the $20-60 area depending on figure. Rarer figures like Psycho-Baltan (MIP) are valued at around $150 and Grand King can bring $300+. Hope this helps and enjoy them for the cool sculpts they are!

Thanks for all the good info!
I purchased them in 7th grade so I love them! I just never knew anything about them.

(O, and sorry to the dude that thinks these aren't vintage!)

According to the dictionary the term ‘vintage’ means ‘the class of a dated object with reference to era of production or use (ie: a hat of last year's vintage.) The term is used in a more unofficial capacity within collecting circles to refer to an arbitrary division between ‘modern’ collectables and ‘older’ collectables. There’s no real cut off but a logical division for me would be the year 1984. This is the year that the Godzilla franchise was relaunched. Bandai also ramped up its hugely successful 6” Ultrakaiju line (of which you have examples here) and their influential Godzilla 8” line. Older companies like Popy were dead or on there way out. Your figures are just starting to get some age on them but I’d still call them ‘modern’- even the oldest Bandai 6” monster is modern; yours have a 3rd generation tag. This site is a good source for visual info for Bandai Ultrakaiju- http://members.tripod.com/~neodenshi/mo ... ratop.html . For some reason the images don’t load in all browsers though and I’ve only had luck in IE. It’s not in English and he doesn’t have everything but it’s a start.

No. they never got around to part 2- not sure if this was because the article was never finished or the page space was given to Urban Vinyl as the magazine began to shift in that direction. Maybe a little of both. Anyway, I found part 1 to be rather 'light and fluffy' by Super 7 standards- not as in depth as their usual fare.

i just posted these (see above picture) on that auction site... i just don't know what to do with them. if anyone wants to make an offer i'll gladly end the auction early. I'd rather they stay with someone that loves them from the boards.

You can search under "kaiju bandai lot 10 figures"
