i've been watching the old 70's tv cartoons lately. it's so bad it's good. each episode has the same basic plot breakdown just new monsters.

those old devilman cartoons are great ! some of those things they got away with on that show would never make it on U.S tv .too bad the live action devilman was such a disappointment .

I was never into the anime / manga / etc., but I have to admit that Devilman is an awesome character. I only have one Devilman-related piece of merchandise, and it's this:

I picked this up about 13yrs ago and it has never been out of the package, I always thought it was Bullmark, but there is no markings,so I guess its time to open him up and really look at him.

Great toy, I bought one a long time back too. Its funny but this one and the dogface boots both come with and without the removeable masks. There are a bunch of small bootlegs too, a TV version that ive seen it at least three diiferent colors and a dogface one that I have never been able to find. Id love to get a picture of my freinds collection to post here as I think he has all one them but he is a very private person.

That bootleg above is odd. I've seen it go high and very low in auctions. Never knew it also came in a non removable mask form. I think the hardest Devilman toy to find is the bootleg dogface mini. Just never see them come up for auction like the larger ones. Here is the thread with pics of that dogface mini and the link to that large Japanese collection:

This figure is wonderful!! I don't remember seeing a face so stern. Contrasts with the mask that kind of has soft features.

Thank you for sharing BKC, It's a beautiful piece!
Like three months ago I saw one that was on sale in the Bay, but I think it doesn't have the removable mask.
