Post Devilman Collection Pics Posted...
I've posted some pics of my Devilman Collection for your enjoyment/ridicule. :)

Hidden in the back is a mask that converts into 5 characters (Devilman, Ninja Arashii, Kikaider, Kamen Rider and Barom 1).
Front - Devilman sketch book, record/storybook, first English Devilman comic from the 80's (only available in Japan - bleh!), original Henshin Cyborg and a sealed set of Devilman glasses that were allegedly sold at or during the time of the Devilman VS. Mazinger Z movie.

... and a couple more. On the far right is a weird Devilman plastic figure I got from Thailand. It's pretty weird.

Great stuff! Is that the Medicom Retro Action Heroes Devilman, or the Takara Henshin Repro?

Zenon came out about 6-7 years ago, I think. They were around for a while but Reds went out of business and blew out the remaining figures they had for cheap. I got this from a friend whose girlfriend worked for Reds or the distributor or something. It was cheap(ish) but the shipping killed me. It had to weigh about 40 lbs.

They sometimes show up on Yahoo Japan but I think they go for about 250-350. There's one on Yahoo Auctions right now at about $200, but like I said, the shipping will be a fortune!

I originally wrote "Is he 2 feet tall?" then edited as the picture doesn't seem as big... but close enough!!! haha. My wife will kill me if I got this in the apartment. I'll have to get rid of half a Detoif worth of toys for the space.

I'll try to post some more stuff. Most of the newer stuff is packed away.

In the meantime, here is one item that's really cool but you can't really tell what it is...

Image

This is a weird Devilman child's bathroom set. It has a spot to hang a washcloth, soap dish, toothbrush holder, etc... and pictures of Devilman and "friends". I'll try to post some pics of the inside. It's really cool.

Also, here is some original art. I'm not sure what it's from. I know it's not from the regular Devilman manga. If anyone knows what this is from, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks. :)

The art isn't an anime cell but could be from something like TEREBI (TV) Magazine or something like that. They used to have comics bundled in those kind of magazines along with awsome Popy ads.

Also, that black, red and white style was popular in the late 70's - 80's. I have some English Urusei Yatsura manga from Japan that have that same color style.

I really wish I knew what they were from.

that bathroom set sounds crazy ! cant wait to see what it looks like on the inside . totally agree with akumizer on your collection .devilman just seems to be one of those timeless creations that seems to be just as popular today as he was in the 1970s .
