You know, I bet the guys at KT are scrambling their asses off trying to deal with the (perhaps unexpectedly huge) response to their event.
I'm actually surprised their server didn't crash!
Also I gotta say I'll continue to support KT. A Japanese Kaiju shop that has an English-language site that ships to the States? Get outta here!
I've gotten some really nice pieces from them---you just gotta time it right!

Just wondering if someone could give me an idea of what KT's shipping rates would be on 1 standard sized (8"-10") figure. Someone mentioned that their shipping costs are high, and before I go through the bother of ordering I was hoping to get a rough idea of what it'll cost me. Thanks!

They just started offering SAL shipping as an alternative to the pricey EMS. SAL isn't trackable and, in my experience, can take 18 to 40 days...

That's still a Real Head for under $60 shipped. I'll do that all day long given the opportunity.

I accepted EMS prices a long time ago as the normal. EMS is the ONLY way to ship and recieve any over seas items. Its the fastest, safest and quickest way to do business.
I don't understand why people will pay hundreds of dollars on toys but gripe on over 20-25 for premium shipping.
Yes at first its hard to swallow. Once you loose a great item you have been lusting over from an over seas shipping error you will quickly learn that if you paid an extra 10 bucks it would have been all set. It pays to have that piece of mind, to me at least.

Naw man. I did email them about my orders and they told me to hold tight as they would get it out to me soon.
So unless you received an email saying your fucked, just hold tight.
Usually when they are busy it has taken up to 4 days before I got anything.

True dat. When you add it all up (with EMS shipping) you still get yer toys cheaper than what you'll pay Evilbay alot of times. These days with all the RFSO hookups and KT I find myself visiting the bay less and less.

Yep yep. When I buy overseas I don't just look at the bin. I look at the bin + EMS cost. If the combined cost comes out more than my budget I pass. Simple

A Chaos for 3800 yen is a deal even if shipping is $20 - next time order more, and the cost per piece will be less

EMS shipping is one of the seven wonders of the modern world... I can get stuff from Japan to the central coast of California in 3-4 days... and it takes ups a week to get me stuff from San Francisco (about 200 miles away)
KT always comes through for me...

I guess I don't understand what happened to you guys....??
You clicked on the items you wanted and then KT sent you an invoice for the ones that were not sold out? Did you have to pay anything when you clicked on the items?
sorry, i'm confused....
