Really good points Brian. And Dr. T too.
I admire some of the older SB figures, but will not go above $75 for a SB toy, no matter rareness. That's my mark and I think I have some good pieces I have picked up for that. I consentrate on the new releases and look at the collections that get posted on here.
At the same time, the secondary sellers are over reaching. I mean a Rainy Day Blazac was going for $125 on here when you can get them new in bag for $77 still. Few pieces are staying unsold on the Bay too - including a Forest Secreter @ $119.

Oh um, so that's what the Forrester Secreter looks like? Um. Maybe skip over some of my comments above.
I at least have the Hidden Boss. Yay.
What then is the green and orange Skullbrain with the translucent green brain bit. That's one I have always wanted.

Yep that the Plant as Brian said - I picked it up for $90.00 - just a little bit over your cap Moriachi. It was relisted and I picked it up on the third time it was listed.
I have wanted that one for some time and waited and waited - See Skylar - patience played out! Prime example - see the thread has come full circle!

Yeah, that's how it works Dr.T. Patience when ya working under a cap. That is main one that I'm keen for. I see now why it wasn't snaffled for $119.
Cheers all.

I wasn't complaining, I swear! just observations, guys.
I think I'm pretty patient with it. and I know that now more than ever we have access to this stuff, and that a lot of the people that I talk to right here on the board are instrumental in that, and I love you guys for it.
everything goes through phases, prices go up, prices go down. I know this, I mean, these certainly aren't the first things I've ever collected.
I just hope that at some point, prices on some of the figures level out. every line has it's big dollar pieces (not just toys even, anything really), and that's fine, but I hope that with the rising popularity and limited numbers of these that prices don't just stick that high forever.
it's tough to do that see saw balancing act and buy the more affordable figures as they come out but then still have money saved in case one of those hard to find guys makes an appearance.
sorry if I came off like a whiny I FART A LOT. wasn't my intention.

I was not trying to sound negative, just trying to point out that we have all been able to really come up big on really hard to find toys lately, and I think we have started to forget how hard it is to really find these things.

 it the game
All of us as collectors go throu the same thing. It's part of the game and for me it makes the hobby fun. It sucks when you can not get your hands on something at retail but just think before ebay and YJA the hunt was even harder and also now with all these news/online retail sites. If your home at the right time you score. Anyways collect what you can and have fun doing it that's what it is all about. Man I must have kids because that sound like an adult thing to say. CHEERS

I just want to say I can't believe all the hype starting to build around SB stuff again. I get at least 6 pm's a day on the KR board asking about stuff.
