I have a Bullmark battery operated swimming beaver.

I'll look for a pic.

Really cool stuff Jim! You are the master!

One really weird thing i saw on my trip to Japan was a vintage vinyl catcher's mitt with Ultraseven on it. really weird and expensive.

Now, there's one particular fish like pirhanna guy i saw that was going for wayyyyy alot of Yen . Do you know anything about that? I think he was from an early 70's cartoon, the one with the swimming boy with the knife.

Please enlighten me if you can. That was a really nice fig.

Yuki of Kimono My House in Emeryville showed me a Ultraman vinyl baseball glove about a little over month ago. It has a "embossed(?) image of Ultraman and the ultraman logo in red, silver(?) and light blue on yellow vinyl(i think). It was very very old but was still "mint in bag". Not a bad price too for such a rare piece! I would pick it up but I'm just not a vintage vinyl aficionado, or rather I think I don't have the appreciation for something like that yet to be able to own it . But i'm really interested in learning the history of kaiju. That is why I'm really digging the vintage vinyl section!

Anyways, if anyone is interested, I'm sure Yuki can hook it up if he still has it.

I believe my brother had that exact Zaboga on the left of the photo. We were kids on a family trip to Hawaii in the early 70's. He got the vinyl Zaboga and I got Ron, the guy in my avatar. (Jim, you already know about my quest to possess Ron, again.) If memory serves me, that Zaboga is about 10"-12", or thereabouts. Is that made by Bullmark? At the time, I'd never heard of Zaboga or Ultraman, but this kid that lived across the street from my grandmother had this huge collection of Ultra Kaiju. I mean, 20, 30 figures, maybe more. They were displayed all over his room. He had a Zaboga toy that, as I remember it, was the coolest toy EVER. About the same size as the vinyl, but it wasn't vinyl. Maybe PVC or perhaps even metal. Motorcycle wheels came out of his chest. The top of his head flipped over and a helicopter came out of it. His fist shot off. I think it had a chain attached so that it woudn't get lost. Both of his boots opened up and little cars came out. It was awesome. Anyone know anything about that toy?

And why the heck do they make Ultra toys every day of the week, but nobody has reissued any Zaboga toys? Never saw the show, but from what I saw of the toys back in the day, Zaboga was a badass!!!

Image i think the zaboga you are reffering to is from the mecha line . some of these came in (THIN ) plastic or vinyl or even poly . far left is rockbat and his robot to the far right . the upper half of this guy comes off and is a car . the hawaii version of the zaboga vinyl is different by the color as it is white like the one i have . later today i will try to post catalog pic of the whole mecha line . i know i have seen the catchers mitt somewhere so now i will have to dig through my books .

Holy Guacamole, Jim!!! How big is your collection? Maybe you should write a book or something.
It's tough to make out the details of that Zaboga from the mecha line in that catalog photo. Does his head flip over with helicopter and all the rest I described in my previous post?

When I was a kid I had a friend that had the Zaboga on the lower left.

That is one seriously nice toy. I wish I would have stolen it from him.

I opted for the mecha Godzilla on the top right.

I still have it to this day, and it's in pretty fair shape.
