i think the most insulting thing about this whole piece of shit is the 'show some kaiju love' on the header.

I'd prefer to encourage anyone who wants to make toys to do so, but there are some concerns here. Namely from my perspective, where's the "kaiju" in this piece? Kaiju collectors are likely to reject the piece, as you've already seen in this thread, based on that evident misuse of the word, and non-kaiju collectors are likely to be confused by it.

Also, do you have KR's explicit permission to modify their "Dun ny" logotype? Excuse me if you do, but if not, you should change that element to something original for your own legal protection. I'd also be concerned about the hands and body on the figure. They are so Dun ny / Munny that again, you may risk legal intervention by KR. Same goes for using the word "du nny" at all to promote this item.

I don't mean to play "copyright cop," but all aesthetic considerations aside, you might want to contact KR's legal representation, if you haven't already, to ensure that this product will be okay with them. Good luck!

Many of us here are very passionate of this "hobby". Personally, I don't care but many will be pissed off by this. Customs are a very touchy subject especially in kaiju. So when you take one of history's biggest scams in the toy scene and slap the word kaiju on it its bound for trouble.

Personally I love what I collect and when I paint I try to show it. Its not just about painting because I can. Its my only medium at this moment because I'm so inspired by them.

If you are looking for a art school pat the back here you wont find it. I also went to art school and the critique here is WAY harsher and much more real world. If a custom sucks people will say it out loud ( like has been done here) and not beat around the bush.

Just be lucky that cesar doesn't pots much or you would have really felt the wrath. Also be lucky that Ramos hasn't seen this yet !

Seriously though, good luck with future attempts at customs. If you really love it continue on no matter what people say. But remember, people respect the artists and creators who make these toys we love and collect. So if you don't show respect to that you will not get far. I'm sure you just realized any thing to do with just about any KR toy especially the [expletive deleted] ....see we cant even write the word you will not get much love unless its incredible !

Adding to the gripes, while trying to be constructive (and ignoring that this is a custom D*nny, after all):
1) The box head looks silly and just slapped on, like an afterthought. It's also about twice the size of the body, throwing off pretty much any sense of balance.
2) The color choices do nothing for me. A boring platform toy was taken and made exponentially more dull.
3) It looks sloppy even for splatter painting. Some areas have much more coverage than others.

Like others have said, I don't really think this belongs here at all. Putting a toy into a polybag, printing a header and stapling it all together doesn't make it a kaiju by any stretch of the imagination.
