Post Last Gasp SDCC07 and Mark Ryden Secret Release
Hi, Y'all.

Told Colin I would post this around. If you'd like to meet me, mule head, i'll be working lunch relief at the booth both Thursday and Friday afternoons somewhere between 1-3, come up and introduce yourself.

Also, want to add, if you are a big Jim Woodring fan, cme by on preview night becasue they had about a dozen copies of Jim's new PressPop book which is a gorgeous hardcover collectig ALL of the Frank color stories in one volume. It's incredible and guaranteed to sell out. Lushious!

Hey Y'all, here's what's goinon at Last Gasp in booth #1616

Booth # 1616 - LAST GASP
A great lineup of artists are signing at the Last Gasp booth this year. Last Gasp will also have a new release from Mark Ryden that will surely sell out quickly! (Sorry, no details... it's a surprise.)

We are proud to host Carol Lay, signing her brand new graphic novel "Goodnight, Irene" which the Guardian (UK) calls "sly, absurdist humour" and "a much-needed antidote" for the cliches of romance.

Mark Ryden signing "Fushigi Circus"; Peter de Seve signing his Sketchbook; Mitch O'Connell signing the last copies of the sold-out "Mitch O'Connell: Tattoos"; Molly Crabapple signing "Dr. Sketchy's Official Rainy Day Coloring Book"; and Romain Hugault signing "The Final Flight."

As you've come to expect, the booth will be overflowing with new and rare art books and graphic novels, and you never know who will drop by to do some shopping.

Here is the lineup

Thursday 12noon - 2pm Romain Hugault signing "The Final Flight"
Thursday 2pm-4pm Peter de Seve signing his Sketchbook
Thursday 4pm - 6pm Mitch O'Connell signing "Mitch O'Connell: Tattoos"

Friday 11am-1pm Mark Ryden signing "Fushigi Circus"
Friday 2pm -3pm Carol Lay signing "Goodnight, Irene"
Friday 3pm-5pm Molly Crabapple signing "Dr. Sketchy's Official Rainy Day Coloring Book"

Saturday 11am-1pm Carol Lay signing "Goodnight, Irene"
Saturday 4pm - 6pm Mitch O'Connell signing "Mitch O'Connell: Tattoos"

See you at Last Gasp - Booth 1616!!

So is the Mark Ryden suprise signed copies of Fushigi Circus? I have the 1st edition, but a signed copy of the 2nd ed would be very cool. (Hint: pick up extra copies for skullbrainers that can't make it!!) I think it is great that someone whose painting go for hundreds of thousands of dollars is taking the time to show up at SDCC for fans!

sorry guys, i am totally sworn to secrecy on the surprise and no, it's not another copy of fushigi circus signed, it's much bigger than that! Bring your credit cards is the most i'm gonna say! That, and that it will most likely sell out on preview night!

oh yeah, and speaking of selling out, i should also mention that the mitch o'connel book of tattoos is really fricken incredible! it's a beautiful book and Last gasp held some copies back for this event.
