Nope, I passed since I have SDCC next week then a jeff soto show and a joe sorren show the following two months (I have been on the wait list for Sorren for about 2 years).

I might take yours out for dinner next time I am in LA.

WOW! It's HUGE!!!

Snagged this pic from Eric Nakamura's blog.

I'm wishing I had pulled the trigger on this one and this was being delivered to my doorstep.... of course, I'm also wishing I had had the $$ for it too! ;-)

The expression on the delivery guys face is priceless. Though I would have loved to have seen his expression if he saw what was in that box.

That's well impressive!

Charge it up and you could light up a small room.
BTW, congrats Hank for a great haul of Pirates and Wings.

They'd probably need to pay royalties to someone other than KAWS on that one so unlikely; but KvP I'd buy if they did it.

Grey is kinda blah on this sculpt (of the 3 original colors) but the black will be a true test of wills. Hopefully I'll be away from the comp when they do the black giant 5YL.

A KvP in scale with the four foot Companion (so, three feet and some change) would be great...and a bit more affordable. I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility!

I wouldn't rule it out at all. With these rehashes though they seem to be all about the $$$ and sharing with Pus means less for KAWS.

At $2500 a pop selling a minimum of 3 colorways with 100 released per means a nice chunk of change for KAWS even after the IRS and Medicom get their cut.

Why share when you can keep rehashing old KAWS designs like Dissecteds or whatever? The KvP is likely one of the last in line for 4' versions if only because of financial concerns (royalties).

But yeah KAWS is bronzing or upsizing his old work so he might get around to the collaborations at some point.

Who?

A search on him shows him to be the KR kid who tried to trade a 400% black Bearbrick that hadn't been shipped yet for a combination of 99s or 5YLs on this board and got hammered relentlessly for it.

At least someone got it who will appreciate it and display it.

People just mocked and insulted him until he disappeared actually. No bickering required. Search joemm in tradebait, the thread is comedy gold.

Check it out: Joemm was one of the first people to sign-up on Skullbrain. He is more of a Western fan, but he knew about Jp vinyl ahaed of the general curve. He also has his own clothing company which I noticed Active and Karamloop picked up - not bad for for someone who just turned 21! He's a nice guy too, altho I guess his trading suggestions were inadvisable for this board.
