pretty fucking cool story.

they always show the videos at Patchi Summit and the Marmtit guy is always there but they usually show it while the toy makers are setting up shop at the far end of the bar.

I saw one of the battels in Boston last year. Good time.

They had buildings in the ring and a 8 foot skyscraper. It all quickly got destroyed in the beginning of the first fight.

I'd definitely collect these if others were made. It would be cool to pose them. And of course, they could release a large ring. hahaahahaa

Im really liking this figure.

I do have 1 question:

how can a 22cm fig. be made and sold for less than $60 ? Is this hi-quality sofubi vinyl like I am so accustom ?

Is this a wholesale deal, are they cheap because its basically straight from the manufacturer ?

Im used to paying $60 for something less than half this size.

anyone w/ info please post or pm. -thanks

because they are selling them at a non-inflated 'real toy' price. you are used to paying 'collectible' micro-brand prices. When I used to go to the Secret Base store in Tokyo the figures where like 38 dollars.

then it got weird.

Also, Marmit is a bigger company and produces it's stuff in higher quantities (this being an exception, of course...they probably can cut a deal with the smaller runs since most of their stuff is in larger runs).

Rumor has it (its from a reputable (sp?) source) that if the figure sells well, Uchu Chu and Cube are the next down the line.

got mine in a day ago from Kaiju.com. Wotta great looking figure! Marmit did an awesome job on the sculpt and the paint -- there are even small "battle scars" by the look of it!

Was anyone else surprised at the weight? Much heavier than what I thought!

Yeah. Marmit's recent efforts have had the heft and thick vinyl of, say, an M1GO.

I noticed it too, its a pretty heavy toy! And all the fine details of scar and battle marks are great. They really put some effort into this guy!
