Sure would be cool if havingmysay would print up some more copies to sell to those of us who couldn't make it to SDCC.

really nice little zine.
though i disagree with the outcome of the gargadeath x skullwing battle
the smooth paper quality is a nice touch.

no PDFs! one of the main reasons i did it was because paper zines have all but died since the internet. i miss zines, newsletters and shit like that. i'm all but out of the first 50. if i can sneak out some more printouts i'll do up a few more.

the word "ZINE" in quotes keeps making me think this is an insult.
haha. Paper zines forever. I can tell we are both old hardcore/punks.

hmm -- I printed my first zine covering Chicago hardcore bands in 1984 during high school...does that count?
while I do prefer the heft and feel of paper I also like to get things out to as many people as possible with a minimal impact on the environment.

While it's right to be concerned about the environmental impact of paper, I don't see anyone knocking Super7 magazine or the forthcoming Mook for not being e-publications.
I prefer paper for small 'zines too. I published a punk/dada thing called The Blast in high school and it was actually a pleasure to have to do the mock-up physically, xerox the copies, and distribute them by hand.
Please don't go getting all insulted or defensive anyone, but as someone who was very young when he got into Punk in 1977-78, it's amusing to see people obviously younger than myself claim to be OG punks. Not arguing with you but it's sort of like the people who got into the hippie side of life in 1977 and now represent themselves as the original flower children, from a certain perspective. Actually I think it's kinda cool ... just ... weird, as some of the self-described OG punks were either babies or not even born yet during the original punk boom. Ah well, every generation is entitled to its chosen identities.
Thanks to Mister Bunny for helping me out with a copy of hms' 'zine. Really lookin' forward to picking it up.

xoconostle - agreed! and there's nothing wrong with the printed matter (just bought the new william gibson book today).
I'm actually quite excited to read HMS's zine -- no matter what the format might be (although I know it won't be electronic).

hahah -- I'll see if I can find mine. One of my faves was called "Rant" which was basically me going off for 32 pages. I love how RR had such an effect on me during the 80's. I sure as hell wasn't gonzo for bonzo.....

Heh, me either, and I'm afraid some of the stuff I published '78-'81 would seem anti-patriotic or "terroristic" today, but then, idealistic teenagers with punk attitude and all that. In retrospect RR seems so much kinder, gentler than ... well you know.

In that case my dear one can only hope to look so well at 84. So ... what's your secret? Oh, and what was it like being at Sex Pistols shows when you were 54?
