Nah, then he/she wouldn't be able to see all that "gay rainbow stuff." It's probably just a lack of good taste.

As a Fresh Meat, I'm gonna make enemies, but that kinds my style...
I don't really understand customs.
I don't get why people would get someone to "do that" to something they piad a shit load for, different strokes for different folks I guess.
Some I like, I like the stuff Shapeshifta does, I wouldn't want any of it (not into rainbow stuff mainly), but he(?) has some great control and an eye for colour.
I like Tinman's Pirate, cuz he did it, regardless of his ability in comparison to some of the "accepted" "artists" on here.
I like Motorbot when he competely revamps a toy. and he usually does it well.
I don't like or I think some other people just fuck toys up.
But only in the sense that I wouldn't want them in my collection.
I like seeing other peoples ideas, even if I think its shit.
I guess its kind of like when a band covers a song, if they don't take the time to make it thier own, then... eh... why did they bother?
But I wouldn't want anyone to stop either, I'm sure it helps the original designers look at thier designs in a different light, through different eyes and come up with more colourways.
I guess...
back to my ale...

Paul and Lash rule. I think their work helps the community as a whole and inspires new designers all the time. It's one thing to just randomly spray up figures then try and hock them as a side business, but when a client commissions a piece it's because of the love for a true custom.
There are camps that want to stick to their limited stock only fig's and there are those that enjoy something unique. A commissioned piece of vinyl shouldn't even be part of this conversation.

Being on the more levelheaded/Muton end of the spectrum here, I usually don't get baited by the trolls like you, but...
That's cool that you do your thing regardless of what people think, and even cooler that you dig the toys, but you are being disingenuous if you don't admit that part of your trip is being a douchebag to piss people off, so you can stay on your whole "persecuted artist" trip.
If you want respect, I would suggest you stop being a jerk, but I don't think you want respect, you want to agitate people. I'm sure you think that's "punk rock" or something, but it really just makes you an ass, especially when you are in a group of people who would otherwise show you some love. Go be nasty to people who have earned that treatment, not people who at least theoretically have the same interests and attitudes as you.
I thought the whole brouhaha that your customs caused was kind of funny at first, but that sig is a serious cry for attention. I guess you got it. Mission accomplished retard.
Edit: Just to stay on topic for a minute and state my opinion on it, I like a lot of customs. Sometimes I see the other side of it for sure, but good art is good art. For example, I'd rather have Paul's PupNTaco ghostfighter than any other factory colorway of it (so if you are the one who bought it off Ebay - sell it to me )

waitaminute,
It's great that there is a lot of support for comissioned pieces here, but I gotta call bullshit if the anti-custom coalition is now saying commissioned pieces are "ok" in their mind.
just a few threads ago, commissioned pieces and those that comissioned them were just as, if not MORE "guilty" in the eyes of the coalition than the artists!
if i'm mis-reading the situation and all customs are still "bad", please carry on....

I found it to be funny myself but no way used that sig as a cry for attention - it was to show that from the outside lookin in all custom kaiju appears the same to non kaiju "intheknow" people
- that people would get that crazy about toys! and calling me a retard? Ill break it down quick - tell you that I have a mentallly challenged child in my family, call you an ass - and be done with you
Me and PK talked - all is well so you drones can sleep well tonight
All my customs, with the exception of that syrup ghostfighter - all were commissioned pieces
So i gues in your eyes im in the safe zone

I'm too lazy to put quotes around each of your paragraphs, so just read it as if I had if you want.
So you're glad you got my attention but you don't care what anyone thinks?
You are not being truthful about the motivations of your posts or your sig. What tf does "reveres" mean? And the couple of people here who really "respect" you are the ones that followed you here from KR. The ones who don't are long time board members who do admittedly sometimes act like bullies, but usually they have been right, especially Glenn. I've gotten on his case before for being mean, and 95% of the time, it pans out that he was right about how the guy was. The rest of us don't care either way, but for some reason I got a hair up my ass about it and decided to respond.
Again, you aren't being truthful. We collect kaiju so we know by the looks of our friends who don't that people "outside" could care less. We don't need an obnoxious sig to remind us. You were trying to pump yourself up on the back of someone else and get attention at the same time. Lame. And pulling the "someone in my family...." card? First, I don't believe you. Secondly, if it's true a) how would I know and b) it doesn't erase the fact that you act like a jerk, and that "retard" is a commonly used term in our culture, you should have a thicker skin about it by now. Also, I can't be waved off and be "done" with. What a pretentious stupid thing to say.
I'm not some kind of drone. I've publicly called out some of your attackers for being to mean to new people on the board. And as much as I like his work, I don't even know Paul personally, but then again I never spent my time here trying to compare myself to him, so I don't have the need to PM him to kiss his ass after I've just insulted him through the comments of others like you do. So no, not a drone, but what I am is someone who has been here for awhile calling you out for polluting the waters here.
Finally, you were never not in my "safe zone" because I don't employ rules on customs. My feelings range from not giving a crap to really liking them if they are good. For example, if you had used paint instead of RIT on your ghostfighter (without knowing how RIT would work with the vinyl) I would have actually liked it. Also, what about the Brain Clot JEQULINAN that you put in BST to get attention after you pissed a bunch of people off with the GF? Was that a commission for your bro who really respects you here that "dropped coin" for it? I don't care about the customs debate, what I do care about is you coming in and being a dick to show off. Go back to KR and do it there, they love the drama.

im not goin anywhere - and every day more KR people, more toy peple from all over - will be coming here - this "elite" club is over - soon it will be another toy site dedicated to toy fiends as it should be - this elitist bullshit attitude shoulda been left back in highschool
you dont like me and what I do? dont look for me and comment then - simple as that - not taking anymore time to prove who likes who here and who doesn't - im here for the toys not friends....if friends develop, rad - if not - whatever

Oh no, we're being invaded! The body snatchers are coming!
I'm not one of the elitists here, I actually hate elitism, so you trying to represent that my comments come from there is bullshit. You acted like an ass plain and simple. Man up and admit it or shut up, but don't cry about how the man is holding you down. There are some people here like that, but most of them are on another message board now anyway that I wasn't invited to because I wasn't elitist enough, so stop with your whole persecution trip. That attitude is what you should have left beind in highschool.
On a side note - I kind of miss some of those people. Please start posting here again to help drown out the whining
And I don't specifically look for your posts to comment on them. Do you really think you are so important? But this is a message board, that is what we do here, is post. If you don't want friends and aren't here for the community, since you're just here for the toys and all, then read and don't post. When you do post, expect replies, that's how this all works.
