Man, RxH is totally snoozing on this sculpt...what a shame. The green is a nice touch on the mini.

RxH originally designed the character for Pop Soda but Pop soda picks the colors and puts out the toys.

Yeah it does not help the sculpt to recieve weak or 0 paint apps....I saw nothing in this sculpt until LASH Killed it....that LASH version just FKN Rules and proves the sculpt is not to blame here.....

I like both of these, but I would like to see some more insane paint jobs, the first orange one was so killer.

Wait a minute, I thought the mini guys would have an open bottom like the walker?

From what I could see, it looks like the popsoda minis are finger puppets.

Wouldn't either finger puppets or walkers have an open bottom, allowing those BBs an avenue of escape? Maybe they plug the bottom ...

After seeing from Lash what's possible with the sculpt, it is disappointing that the next release is yet another unpaint - To me some of the other RxH sculpts hold up better as unpaints than does this one.

Yes that was what I was wondering.

I still like that clear grey vinyl color.

In the photo it looks like the mini does indeed have a bottom. You can see how the vinyl curls under ... that's not there on the open-bottom versions with the notch on the side.

Is it wrong that I like the Popsoda minis more than the full-sized sculpt? I just think they're really cute for some reason. Nothing against the full-size but I guess the reason it doesn't light my fire is that it's for promoting another company and has nothing to do with Mori's science fiction armies, even if it is characteristically and weirdly his sculpt. I'm sure that if he were doing the colorways, there would have been more interesting ones by now. Still, props to those collecting the figure. No doubt it looks cool when a few of them are on the shelf together.

^ That painted PopSoda is by far and away the very best version released so far.

As for the new GID BB mini -- I like it. Generally the larger dude doesn't interest me, but I really like the smaller one. Anyone happen to know how many of the minis have been released so far?
