LOL but with "Mason" you get secret handshake and world domination, so I think the Family Toybot knows what they're doing.
Seriously, so happy for ya man. What a cute kid!

Or at least name him "Neal Kyle Jue" or something that sounds like "Neo Kai Ju"...

Just please not "Neo The One." Kaiju > Keanu.

What a coincidence...that's not Mason, as in Major Matt Mason, is it?!

Whoa! Dude, that was a major mind trip! I wasn't sure who you were referring to until I looked it up: http://www.snowcrest.net/fox/mm.html
crazy thing is that I had these toys as a kid (or at least played with them). I haven't seen them since! crazy. If I remember correctly, I dug that the space suit had rubber joints and the helmet with the working face shield. sooooo cool.
but to answer your question: no, my son is not named after this toy. He was conceived while watching "National Treasure"

I also had Major Matt Mason toys as a kid and loved 'em. I remember he had a jetpack with a cord on the back that you could use to make him fly. IIRC a little hypno-spiral thing on the pack spun around as the cord reeled back in. I had the orange suit version with the bendy shoulders pictured at that website. Also seem to remember something called "Camelback Highway" that was a MMM toy ... sort of a build-it-yourself sci-fi railroad thing with lots of hills and "cars" that moved on it very slowly. So far I can't find any info on it on the 'net, but I'm almost positive it was an MMM toy. Anyone remember this?
