I'd just like to point to this "newb customizer thread" as the proper way to do things around here - Manimal, you could take a lesson from angryblue. You see how he initially got flack, but took the criticism to heart and gained respect for it? Then gained more respect by posting some of his work that better shows off his skills? Peoples opinions really aren't centered around whether you're one of the "cool guys" or a "newb" - it's all in how you come across, take criticism, and show respect.

Maybe this should be a sticky we can point future "newb customizers" to?

(And let's not get into a discussion regarding the merits of angryblue's customs compared to Manimals - that's not the point.)

Thanks for the compliments on the 'art'. It's what i love to do. I need to get into painting and doing some more personal stuff that doesn't end up having a brand or band name slapped on top of it at the end of the project.
