Yep, the term rare is certainly more commonly used in the RxH stuff and lots of other stuff like Gargamel and SB for sure....and I would call those more like limited runs.

When I think "rare" I think of Jumbomachinder vinyl villains, released in the 70s 'n shit like that....

So to clarify, do I think its cool for a limited run figure to be customized? Yes. Is it maddening to see a toy that I covet, turned into a custom? Absolutely! But if the artist or customizer comes up with an incredible custom...then it hurts less.

So to a degree...I guess it depends on the artist, and the final finished piece.

But if I see anyone customize that clear pink Mutant Chaos I've seen pics of...I am gonna scoop my eyes out with a soup ladle...!!

i sorta wish i didn't jack up this older chaos a few months ago... it still looks like this. it isn't one of the more desirable ones, but i haven't seen it for sale in awhile. oops
