Its on the 'Bay, don't want to link an active auction but its hard miss with a "secret base" search.

They use "Secret Base handpainted SDCC Skullbrain Kaiju" as key words and show a SDCC Hiddy handpaint certificate of authenticity.

But it looks just like a Hiddy "Get Fat Milk" except the drip color might be red instead of orange. It sure looks like a "Get Fat Milk" Brain not like any of the SDCC drips I've seen photos of.

That one is totally legit. Whomever that guy is pulled that a few after I got mine. If I recall almost everyone that got theirs opened them up in a little circle and I recall seeing 2 of those black with orange/red paint. I think maybe like 3 to 5 people walked off without opening theirs. Like I said before though I can't imagine that more than 30 were available. I didn't count but I know they ran out way before all the S7 backstage passes had gone through the line. Hope this helps.

Thanks Hank, the paint looked red enough that I wasn't certain but also very much like the "Get Milk Fat". Good to know its legit.

The bottom of the feet of the Hiddy hand paints have special stickers on them...

The Skullbrain from 2d Anniversay ring set is black but bloody and it has some paint on the face but its solid black. The body is transparent though.

You know, for as much as I like the Pushead HP stuff, the Damnedrons are flat out lame. That 'Wing is freaking awesome, then you scroll down to the Damns and it's like "huh?".

Do you mean you don't like the paint ap or you don't like Damnedrons in general? It's not a particularly elaborate paint ap but don't know that I would call it lame (my 2 centavos). As for the Dam sculpt I like it :)

A bit from column A, a bit from column B. Some Damns look alright, but for the most part it's not my thing. I don't know how to describe the paint ap..."lazy" doesn't really work, because most Pushead painted stuff doesn't look like it took much effort - but most Pushead stuff STANDS OUT. The Damns don't. I would be very disappointed if I bought a blind-bag HP figure and it turned out to be a Damn. They have no presence. But take a look at all the HSP Pirates - those are all like "Whoa!"...yet just about as "lazy", when it comes to the paint technique. (And then there's the true HP 'Wings and Pirates...)

oh no you didn't just type that (waves finger)... when i look at the pushead HSP and HP stuff, i just scratch my head and think "how the hell does he do it?". when the handpainted stuff gets stuck in the case at SDCC, my jaw drops when they pull out one figure after another. i haven't a clue how long it takes him to do his handpainted stuff, but he's certainly mastered some technique using some sort of mysterious paint

I gotta say, the more I see the Damns, the more they grow on me, they do seem like they would hold thier own and stand out no problem.

That's what I'm trying to say - usually his stuff is great! But not the Damns. Maybe it IS just the sculpt, but I think Pushead should be able to make them look good despite the sculpt - PK surely does!

Ah, these are one-off handpainted 'wings, correct? So there's a damn good reason why they're so pricey.

"average price" = Vince is an idiot. Feel free to call me an asshole the next time I type something as stupid as that.

$2,025.00??? HOLY CRAP!

Shit, for that price I would be VERY tempted to let mine go and pick up some serious rareities!

One thing that is crazy, the HSP went for WAY more than the original Bronze Kaws/Pus Companions and WAY more than any of the Skullwings I have seen.

I smell shill bidding...

I hate eBay's new policy of not showing who is doing the bidding... there's little defense against people shill bidding items up to build hype and panic for rare items.
