Nice grabs HM!
I got the Toygraph racers too, the Gezora kills. Everyone seems to have grabbed up the pink, but I think the blue one is the nicest.

Damn -- I need to get this one. I bought the clear green as well as the O.L.P. (brown, that's it's official name, I guess) but I need this painted green too. Does he happen to have a 'name'? Hopefully my Zegaron and Kid Octopus come in soon.

I think that one is the Toxic CG colorway. There is actually a full-size Dokugan in the same colorway (that is different from the Atomize ver.).
Does anyone have that one? It was released at Taipei Toy Festival, and it appears that Knunt had one at some point.

Thank you, you are too kind.
No sooner had I posted those pics when ANOTHER KT/Wonderfest package arrived. Why they all weren't shipped in the same box, I dunno. The box was bigger than the previous one, and what was in it? Just this:
Awwww yeaaaah.

I think the Charactics stuff came in later than the rest of the Wonderfest schwag. You can ask K-T to hold on shipping if you know that you have other things coming in soon.
That's a great photo of the Jewel Matango. But no clear Walder set? For shame.

The Blobpus release schedule has been compared to a 4/4 techno beat.
It seems like they are consistantly dropping new releases. they dropped the KOK, then (in Japan) immeditely dropped the toxic clear green. Someone smartened up and the toxic was not released in america untill recently. This was all on the heels of the gold blobs that had not yet sold out in stores!
Beyond that I feel like a release of every figure (blobpus, blobpi, docross, kaijun, 1 eyed guy, etc) in every colorway is overdoing it. Its nice to have a matching set of the said figures, but how many of each sculpt can my shelves handle ? (yea, the kaijun 1 eye is new, but im not feelin it)
Im also concerned about the run #s. The 3 latest runs have to be on the high end, these are setting in stores, as apposed to selling out quickly, some are even being marked down in price. I know its the wrong way to think of things, but I know these high numbers hurt the resale and collectability value. (high numbers = low quality *sometimes*)
Overall I would like to see a new sculpt, something like the blobpus, but w/ a new head or something to keep the line interesting. pipe cleaners? GID BBs? who knows - maybe more collabs made in limited numbers like the OB set.
Obviously, I dont have all the awnsers, just a fan from colorado who wants his old, limited run, thick ziplock-bagged blobs back.

Hypermook those images are beautiful. I'm beginning to think you could make nearly any toy look like something worth buying.
The Matango is a real beauty - I can't wait for mine to arrive.
Nice to see some of these new releases up close too. Thanks for the pictures.

This is definitely an interesting question. It's really hard to walk that line of limited/desirable/available/interesting etc. First, I agree overall they seem to be releasing too much. But I have to say, they have actually slowed somewhat. Around Christmas and shortly thereafter was the worst...two GID dokugans, 2 Gid LKs, then toxic Y, yolk, AND unpainted yellow dokugans AND LKs...then the lucky bag blobs (what like 4 different ones?) all in the space of two months.
Anyway, new sculpts definitely help to some extent. For instance I don't really dig the docross so I'm able to pretty much just ignore those. Thus does don't really "dilute" the brand.
I too still prefer the original blobs above all the others, but the kaijin dudes are pretty cool too. But do you really want to go back to the ultra limited blobs? How many of those pictured in S7 do you have? I'm guessing not many because they are impossible to find. They were even hard to get when they came out and barely anyone cared about blobpus at the time.
