I'm just lookin forward to getting the Mook to see all tha different RxH fig's that are out there that I have never even seen before,and also to see all the other cool kaiju that's in it,hell I'm not even going to attempt to buy those older RxH fig's that pop up here and there,I'm happy when I can score a few from S7,and maybe get a figure off a board member for a decent price,but I'm not paying Crazy money for these even though they are the coolest toy's I have ever collected..Tha way I see it is if I can get some of the newer releases here and there and over time one day I will have a nice collection,it's just going to take awhile and I think that's why I enjoy collecting RxH so much..I remember when I would go full bore into collecting something,spending to much money and then all the sudden I would just get burnt out on it!! I've learned my lesson on impulse collecting because it's popular at the moment and everyone is wanting it,been there done that!! I't might take a few year's but one day I will have a nice RxH collection and I'll post pic's in about 36 months because I have finally found something that keep's my interest..

plus the mook isn't just RxH. So other audience's will be reading.

So what if it drives up the prices on the secondary market? That will only be temporary.If your a dedicated and patient collector, the "market" will even out and you will once again be able to buy all the half naked mutants your little heart desires for a reasonable price.Then again paying 60 dollars for anything that dosent feed you, cloth you, keep you warm or float is a little crazy.

I guess all your assumptions will be answered when the mook actually drops and what happens within the 6 -12 month period to follow.

RxH has gone up a huge amount, this is true for now. But as time has shown what goes up will come back down. I personally cant afford figs at the current market price. And I'm betting many who also bought them cant either. So I just wait and watch.

There will always be the next big thing. And if people only buy because they saw the run size in a book or because others are buying it they have no real interest and no matter how much they brag it will eventually be for sale.

So yes I think it may spike a bit higher but all will level out like Secret Base has.

I cant wait for the mook, I think it will have a massive impact on collecting and specifically within our community, it will be sad tho when this board is at ten thousand members (too many posts to read!)
I think i just get pissed when someone with more money than sense drops down silly money on something, instead of getting to know people and trying to get deals, but then not everyone that buys this comes here, some peeps go to the bay and dont waste their lives discussing such things !
